I am looking forward to trying my first 3D shoot. One main question I have is the two day format. Do you have to shoot both days. How does this format work.
Any other beginner tips would be appreciated, such as must have gear.
Thanks Jack

Welcome Jackw22 to the 3D archery world! Once you go to our first shoot you will be counting the hours to our next. The two day format is just to allow people to shoot as their schedules allow. Most clubs open registration at 8 and close it about 2. Requiring score cards to be turned in about 5. When you register let the hosting club know you are a "newbie" and they will tell you everything you need to know and can put you with someone to shoot with if that it is needed. We like for groups to have 3 to 5 shooters. There are varying distances/stakes for the different archery classes. Review the website for other documents. Come back here if you have any questions. We also have a Facebook page. www.facebook.com/SCArcheryI am also attaching a file I am working on that details 3D Archery tournaments. I hope it is helpful! Attachments:
