If you have been wondering what you can do to have fun between shoots and help improve your shooting at the same time, wonder no more! I think this will be a lot of fun and a good way to "shoot together" during the week.
SCAA Virtual Indoor League
Start Date: January 20
End Date: March 9 with State Indoor
Classes: Bowhunter, Open, and Cubs (11 yr and younger, shooting 10 yards)
RULES:
1. Participants must be SCAA members. You can also participate if you join the SCAA at the Indoor but are currently not a member.
2. Scoring is done by the “honor system.”
3. You must shoot at an indoor range.
4. You must turn in 5 scores prior to the State Indoor (March 7th) via email (dgchumley@prtcnet.com) or message SCAA Facebook page. They can be shot at any time before March 7.
5. You must shoot the State Indoor. This will be your 6th
and 7th final score.
6. Each score will be a full indoor round (60 arrows) to be shot consecutively (you can’t shoot 30 at one time, 30 at another time, and add them together)
7. You have to decide that the round you are shooting will count before you start. In other words, you cannot shoot 15 rounds and take the 5 highest scores. This would be considered unsportsmanlike.
8. Handicap will work as follows: Your first 3 scores will be averaged together. The average will be subtracted from 300 and multiplied by 90 percent. This number will be rounded and added to all of your scores with a max score of 300.
9. The winner will be determined by the total of all 7 scores handicap included. Ties will be broken by x count.
This competition is for bragging rights only so there is no cost except whatever it costs you to shoot at an indoor range. Please sign up by email or message us on the SCAA Facebook page by Jan 27th.
Thanks,
