I would like to congratulate Tammy Carter for accecpting the position as ASA state director I left for personal reasons and she accecpted that position. I wish her all of the luck and I support her in what ever she does and I ask all of the Archery Shooters and Archery clubs in the state to support the ASA and Tammy. Thank you Larry Farnsworth

Thank you Larry for the kind words! I am looking forward to the upcoming year! Getting more archers in the state of SC is my goal. Frank and I will be traveling to the different clubs in SC and we look forward to seeing faces that we already know and meeting new ones! Again thank you!

Most of the 3D tournaments offered in SC are formatted similar to ASA-style tournaments. If you are looking for ASA qualifier tournaments, they are noted on the SCAA Tournament page. sc-archery.com/tournaments-and-scores/

No the SCAA does not offer the same classes that ASA does, that is why most have to go to GA if they want to shoot ASA classes. SCAA has consolidated classes this year and has offered a known class, which I plan on shooting and I think it will help. But what I am asking is will SC have a state tournament? If so where and when is it, also I have heard rumors of a ASA big tournament in 2016 can you let us in on that?

The SCAA classes are set to help the clubs caterer to a variety of archers. With the addition of the known classes this year, there is now a class for all ASA archers. I have attached the ASA page that is in our handbook. It lists all the ASA qualifiers and state tournament dates for the year. I do hope that you will be able to shoot more tournaments in South Carolina. SC ASA page.docx (83.07 KB)

archeryconnection....Lady531 posted a page out of the SCAA Handbook referencing all the qualifiers and state championship dates for the upcoming year. I am looking forward to the upcoming year and meeting new faces! Also upper state in SC has a circuit ...Southern Archery Circuit (SAC). All shoots for the upcoming year are posted on the SC ASA Federation Facebook page. In response to your question about ASA having a shoot in SC....Only time will tell!
