I use 4 pins normally (20-30-40-50). I tried the single pin thing and didn't like it. I was always trying to figure out the best yardage to set it. If you are hunting corn and your shots are always at 20-25 yards, it is a lot easier to use a single pin. But hunting public land style, I never know how far the shot will be; and most of the time there is no time to adjust. I also find comfort in knowing my top pin is always at 20 yards and I don't have to think about it. If I hunted out west I may would add a pin or two.
All that being said most of my shots are less than 20 yards.

Thank you for you taking the 3 seconds to fill out the poll. And Gregom I'm sorry I didn't think of adding no pins, nice catch. I'm also sorry I have no clue on how to edit the poll.
But the biggest thing I'm sorry about is the amount of views compared to voted. So I'm asking the non voters why they didn't answer the poll, then it hit me maybe they are non hunters.
So I'm asking those of you who viewed the poll but chose not to select an answer, Please tell me why?

The amount of views could be voters (or stalkers as I have been) coming back and looking again. I put your poll on the Facebook page. I changed the response to a single-moveable pin and multiple-fixed pins. There are some that responded multiple-moveable, which I haven't thought about. You may need to poll at a tournament to get a bigger response.
We haven't voted. David does both. Like Jimmy said it depends on the hunting spot and other variables. I use multiple-fixed pins. My bow is slower than his and I feel more comfortable having the further pins for references on the arrow drop. With that said, my hunting spots usually only require a single 23 yard pin. This keeps the aiming high/low in the kill zone pretty good for my setup. My next pin is set so I have enough space to see between the pins. Pin size and light conditions can also hinder the view. The less pins can be better in the right situations.
